Welcome!
Hi there, I’m Kaley... the founder of The Oakwood Society.
Like many women, I found myself increasingly overwhelmed by constant digital connection, both professionally and personally. Between the nonstop notifications, overflowing inboxes, endless messages, and admittedly, the nightly TikTok doom scroll, I realized I had to intentionally create time where I wasn’t online or constantly reaching for my phone.
Through a lot of testing and adjusting, I slowly built a few rituals that brought me peace, focus, and unprompted curiosity. My mornings became centered around coffee, journaling, and quiet reflection, while my evenings filled with books, tea, and meditation.
The Oakwood Society began as an attempt to create that same space for others through tactile, analog experiences. What started as a personal desire for slower, more intentional routines eventually became the foundation for a space centered around reading, journaling, literary exploration, and mindful offline engagement.
That idea ultimately became the heart of the Snail Mail Club... a monthly analog ritual designed for busy millennial women looking to reconnect with reflection, creativity, and intentional attention in the middle of full lives.
Everything created through The Oakwood Society is rooted in the belief that small, intentional rituals matter... and that even the smallest changes can have a meaningful impact.
I’m so glad you’re here, and I can’t wait for us to grow together!
